Joseph O'Neill, M.D. 

Dr. O'Neill was appointed by former President George W. Bush to serve as the Director of the White House Office of National AIDS Policy. Previously, Dr. O’Neill has served as Acting Director of the Office of HIV/AIDS Policy in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and as Associate Administrator for HIV/AIDS in the Health Resources and Services Administration’s HIV/AIDS Bureau. Consistently leading the creation of policies revovling around HIV/AIDS care and treatment, health care financing and access for medically underserved populations, O'Neill has global recognition in clinical care, palliative care and symptom management for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
