Dr. Zeng is a Professor of Virology at the Institute of Virology, a member of the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine, and a member of the Chinese Academy of Science. Dr. Zeng has been a strong advocate on HIV/AIDS-related issues in China and is currently the President of the China AIDS Foundation. Because of his contribution to HIV/AIDS in China, Dr. Zeng received the 2006 Barry & Martin Award.
